Key Responsibilities: Plan, develop and manage the implementation of comprehensive and effective Human Resource (HR) and organisational policies and practices that support the HR business strategy and organisational culture for the Group of Companies. Reporting on all HR information monthly in EXCO and board meetings was an imperative. Managed 5 HR Officers across South Africa. It is worth noting that during 2011-2013 the Holding Company (Speed Bird Investment Holdings) embarked on a side line consultancy business (Q-bix Business Solutions) to generate more income, whereby key staff had the opportunity to consult to various different companies and industries. Areas in which I consulted: Section 189 retrenchments, restructuring, creating job profiles, disciplinary hearings etc. Companies consulted to included Maks and Blaze (Pty) Ltd, Total Product Solutions (Pty) Ltd and Harco International. It was a great learning experience, as we needed to create our own budgets, deliver income statements to our EXCO meetings monthly, do our own marketing, and run the project as our own companies.
