Completed a six-month project on-time and within budget. As a key member of a litigation team, I helped conduct due diligence/discovery in the successful defense of Union Oil of California (Unocal) to a U.S. Department of Interior lawsuit alleging underpayment of royalty payments based on oil, natural gas and condensate production from Outer Continental Shelf blocks, state waters, federal lands and Indian lands. When the parameters of the project ballooned to include all company records dating back to 1890, which necessitated the implementation of a second shift of document reviewers, I was tasked with the additional responsibility of supervising a team of coworkers during the evening shift.

Conducted legal and business matters for a privately owned, large-format digital equipment seller (Xerox’s fastest growing dealership in the Western Region USA). Advised on leases, confidentiality agreements, employment and labor issues, credit finance, tax issues and corporate governance. Managed outside counsel on litigation of intellectual property rights.
