I am the middle-man between the GSRC's CRM office and the work being conducted in the field. In the office before a project I work closely with the GIS specialist and Principal Investigatior to prepare and execute cultural resources surveys and monitoring for various agiencies to comply with Section 106, National Register, NAGPRA, and NHPA. In the field I supervise personel to properly conduct surveys and monitoring. I keep daily notes of the project and collect, organize, and store data collected in the field to be processed in the archaelogical lab. Once in the lab I help clean, preserve, identify, and store cultural resources tthat will be sent to various collection and storage facilities. Once all data and fieldwork is complete I will assist in writing reports and ensuring quality control of the reports before being sent to the clients and the State Historic Preservation Office.
