I left school in 1999 with 1 C in Maths and joined the Army at 16. At 17 years old I was walking through mine fields in Kosovo and by 18 I was a badged British Army Sniper having passed the course at the highest level. Only 3 people on my course were badged. By 19 I was back in Kosovo as part of a Covert Surveillance Team working alongside the British Special Forces.However, after struggling with my mental health and depression by 20 I was discharged from the Army and I was lost. I spent a few years working any job I could as part of Adecco work agency and saved up to go to Australia for a year. In Australia I played professional football, it was not the plan to do so. I literally went to a training session and they offered me a contract at the end of it. Crazy!After Australia I embarked on a career in the fitness industry and worked my way up to a Senior Management position with British Military Fitness. By 2015 I was frustrated with the politics and left my position to go to university full time to complete a Masters in Business Administration.After which I launched Mummy Meegz in 2016/17 and have spent the last 7 years literally "staying in the game".In all honesty I just wanted to create a scalable brand and an amazing company to work for with a clear vision and a mission that people can get behind.
