I work with teams to create and develop unique and authentic destinations, tailored to local markets and delivering distinct meaningful experiences. Role included:► Strategic asset and property management ► Master planning activities► Identification and leadership of property development opportunities for individual assets► Asset team leadership► Team leadership of asset teams and all functional areas of the shopping centre business► Strategic planning and execution of 12-month business plans and five (5) year asset strategy plans and forecasts► Budget planning, cost control, and operating income management► Governance of portfolio operational matters► Project planning and leadership - business case preparation for owner approval,► Collaboration with place strategy and design team to deliver place-led approaches within assets► Acquisition and divestment activities to support new business and merger opportunities

Responsible for entire management of a team of one of Australia's largest bulky goods centres over 52,000 sqm retail centre with 80 bulky goods stores and 7 major retailers. Duties included master planning, leasing, arrears control and collection, budgets, business planning, rent reviews, monthly reports, leasing administration, centre repairs and maintenance, and retailer relationships. Responsible for the public relations function including media liaison, participating in the leadership and/or management of various community organisations, acting as a high profile ambassador of the centre at leading business and community functions.

Responsible for entire management of a team of one of Australia's largest bulky goods centres over 52,000 sqm retail centre with 80 bulky goods stores and 7 major retailers. Involved in the sale of the centre heading up the due diligence team for the Owner responsible for over 600 requests for information, assisting with the data required for the information memorandum, and reviewing sale contacts.

Involved in all stages of the $90 Million development of the iconic Gold Coast centre over a two staged development program with the first stage opening in March 2009. As Project Centre Manager was involved in all aspects of the Development including tenancy co-ordination of over 100 retail tenancies, project management, contract negotiations, management of the defect liability rectification program, project marketing, media management and leasing delivery.

Responsible for entire management of a team of 26 staff and the 80,500 sqm retail centre with 220 specialty stores and 10 major retailers plus the 22,500 sqm adjacent Home Centre . Involved in bedding down of The Piazza and Food Court development which which was completed in May 2005 which included 12 additional restaurants,new AMF Bowling Alley,JB Hi Fi,New 12 plex Cinema and a new Food Court. Key member of the development team that installed the largest high definition large screen television in the country in the Piazza launched in 2007.

Involved in all stages of the $200 Million development of the centre over a four staged development program with the first stage opening in September 1996. Over a ten year period became heavily involved within the business community being an integral part of The Chamber of Commerce, CBD Traders Association and various Council advisory committees.

Management of both centres plus four smaller miscellaneous properties, including the responsibility for a Marketing Manager and Operations team. Duties included leasing, arrears control and collection, budgets, business plans, rent reviews, monthly reports, leasing administration, centre repairs and maintenance, and retailer relationship.

Developed by Kern Corporation, Ipswich City Square is a regional shopping centre located in the CBD of Ipswich. The centre had 100 specialty stores and two major tenants. Duties included budgeting, managing a $3M expense budget, centre repairs and maintenance, monthly reports, arrears, rent reviews and maintaining retailer relationships.
