(see detail success criteria below)PROJECT OVERVIEWThis engagement was a complete build out into a "single pane of glass" all the information and data points of a medical tracking and management system. Initially, numerous legacy systems and shared spreadsheets were used to manage the data on a shared drive. The goal was to provide the internal support teams with an easy to use tracking and alert solution to oversee the treatment of a prostate cancer patients treatment. The flow was to take patients white blood cells, send them to the nearest lab for processing and send it back to be put back into the patient on a 48 hour time clock. From one screen you can see current step, target and exact times, locations, alerts if something goes wrong and contact info for all locations along the way. Widgets were for relevant views of weather, flight delays, news delays pertaining to the timetable. When alerts such as airline delays would popup, it would auto recommend other flights or private jet solutions that were available.Research showed that this design would save over 100 hours of management time across multiple departments per procedure, increase response times to issues from a 35 minute average to 4.5 minutes, cut the number of failures from 3 out of 100 to .25 saving $75,000 per procedure failure.
