I took the leap to start my own building company and at the same time made the classic ‘shiny penny’ entrepreneurs mistake and thought it would be a good idea to start a second business, a gym. I was stretched to the max and something had to give, so I sold the gym for a modest profit and then without knowing what I was doing, negotiated my first equity deal with a commercial construction business. We grew that business from 3-10m in revenue. Today I coach and mentor other high achievers and business owners to get to the next level and I invest into companies through my holding company, DABCO Holdings Ltd.
