I am trial attorney who represents clients to resolve complex contract and business disputes. My practice focuses on efficiently resolving disputes involving restrictive covenants, partnerships, limited liability companies, complex insurance matters, and trade secret issues. I regularly represent employers in court and before state and federal agencies to resolve claims of discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful discharge. I have handled matters throughout the state of Idaho and regionally, and have tried complex cases to courts and juries in both state and federal court. I am experienced in resolving matters through various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, and informal settlement negotiations between counsel. I have also successfully represented clients in antitrust, business torts, and other complex matters.I regularly write and speak on complex commercial litigation and management-side employment matters. I previously served as a Law Clerk Extern for the Honorable Mikel H. Williams of the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. I also served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Stephen S. Trott of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.I am admitted to practice in the state of Idaho, the United States District Court for the District of Idaho, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I have also appeared pro hac in a number of other jurisdictions around the country. I am active in the community, sitting on a number of Boards including serving as the current President of the Downtown Boise Association--the business improvement district for Downtown Boise.
