A positive, proactive results driven classroom practitioner and Senior leader with a highly successful background in achievement. With 18 years’ experience of teaching Geography/Travel and Tourism with Outstanding Ofsted observations and excellent results at GCSE and A Level Geography. I have developed excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in an educational setting. I thrive in highly pressurised and challenging environments. I have the ability to develop and maintain good mutually beneficial relationships with others. I led and managed the Humanities team consisting of 10 staff. Results and achievement have been outstanding. In my current role as Assistant Headteacher I lead on all staff CPD and led a teaching and learning conference for 280 people. In June 2015 I led a trip to Sydney, Australia which consolidated my skills in health, safety and risk assessment. I successfully renewed my First Aid at Work certificate in October 2018 which is valid until October 2021.
