Industry led charity operating within the tech and digital sector, focused on ensuring the UK is digitally capable of competing in the global economy.• Responsible for providing the board and leadership team with current and relevant financial and operational information interpreted in a clear way so that more timely and effective decisions could be made.• Successfully managed the budget and delivery of multi million pound private and government funded contracts ensuring that all outputs, outcomes and deadlines were met, with all risks being identified and managed resulting in no financial penalties or claw backs, an increased reputation for the charity and significant growth through securing new business contracts. • Successful delivery of business transformation and reorganisation programmes including setting up a new charity and trading subsidiary, staff expansion and downsizing programmes and developing new commercial products and services, resulting in increased operational capability and effectiveness, financial efficiency and savings whilst managing impact on staff morale and well-being.• As Company Secretary I support and protect the Trustees and Senior Management Team in their roles by designing and implementing a range of suitably robust systems, processes and policies for overall governance and risk management ensuring a compliant, disciplined and transparent working environment. • Responsible for all the legal affairs of the charity ensuring overall compliance and protection of its assets and IPR as well as exposure from third party and employment related litigation.• Successfully negotiated and executed major property transactions including acquisitions, surrenders, assignment and sub-lets as well as coordinating office relocations and refurbishments.
