Contracted by Transport for London to maintain traffic signals and other associated equipment.• Suitably and properly representing the Company both in quality of work and customer services.• Assessed onsite by supervisors and awarded a full sector 8 portfolio as a service operative.• Working on and maintaining Siemens, Peek, Microsense, Dambach and Coeval controllers.• Comprehending PPM of UTC, SCOOT, MOVA, IMU/OMU, RMS, V/A, CLF & fixed time methods of control.• Ensuring that traffic signal maintenance contractual obligations, terms and conditions are met.• Attending emergency calls such as all-outs, fault finding and re-energising traffic signals.• Carrying out installations, repairs and maintenance on signal heads, push button units, transformers, motors, starters, PSU's, infa-red/microwave/video vehicle/pedestrian detectors, far/nearside indicators, inductance loops, telecoms, bus priority, photo cells, printed circuit boards, outstation transmission units, PCaTS, Magnetometers and all associated equipment.• Working outdoors and at heights with rotating shift patterns including lone night working.• Periodic Inspections and Testing of Traffic signals.• Routine maintenance and working on London’s Tramlink Tram Track/Signals.• Charge hand team installation repairs on signals and street furniture when required and requested.• Ensuring that all relevant administrative paperwork including P.I forms, stock returns, timesheets, worksheets via MS Word and Excel are completed in tidy and efficient time-scales.• Ensuring that vehicles, tools, spares and equipment to be used are in a safe and usable condition.
