Responsible for professional leadership in the daily and long-range management of building trade operations, construction, maintenance and the physical condition of the building electrical systems, building envelope, energy management, preventive maintenance, and other related operations. Provide service-oriented leadership and expert management of a complex campus encompassing nearly 300 acres. Oversee, coordinate, and manage campus operations, construction of administrative space, live-burn training props, and maintenance programs including planned/preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs. Support staff of over 20 personnel which includes over site of hiring, evaluation, training and promotion for all staff. Promote a customer-oriented, highly-qualified, and diverse workforce. Possess a broad knowledge of general business practices, engineering best practices, sustainable operations, and relevant technology to effectively manage a complex physical plant. Develop, update, and implement key performance indicators (KPI's) to optimize staff efficiency, extend the service life of building systems, and maximize the effective use of available funding. Build collaborative partnerships with contractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, peer professionals, training staff, administrative staff, and students to consistently achieve operational objectives in support of the mission, values, and priorities of The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service / Emergency Services Training Institute.Solve complex issues with simple solutions.

Design, engineer, fabricate and paint scenic elements used in stage productions. Lead a team of volunteer builders in construction of said elements.

Lead a team of trade individuals in daily maintenance and construction activities. Oversee budgetary items. Schedule contractors and build relationships with area vendors. Oversee all facility issues on campus.

Mentor a team of emerging young professionals in bar and nightclub management.
