Since my promotion to Senior Systems Engineer at Beca, I have delivered a broad range of outputs including but not limited to these highlights below. The Navy Diving Safety Case was an opportunity to combine my analytical and Bowtie XP skills to produce clean and concise visualizations of key risks for the enterprise.I've worked with another government department using the microsoft suite of products and cordinating telematics subcontractors to build a robust and extensible framework for fleet management and reporting, providing key metrics and an adaptable platform.A key role I have played for our digital products team is as a PowerBI dashboards developer, tester, and consultant. I have worked directly with clients to help set context and derive requirements. I can confidently build elegant and intuitive dashboards to meet those requirements. In the last two years I have moved to multiply my outputs through coaching and mentoring junior PowerBI developers. I have thoroughly enjoyed this part of my job and do everything I can to connect like-minded people and spread my passion throughout our business.Recently I have enjoyed working with the Airforce to provide documentation and support towards introduction of a new aircraft type. This has included assistance with policy development and equipment management plans.Internally I am sought after for my skills to develop PowerBI reports for our business Insights team.My skills in PowerBi have grown to become a passion and I've recently worked with a small team to build a forum of 60 (and growing) PowerBI enthusiasts to share knowledge and resources throughout the business ensuring our outputs are consistently of the highest possible standard.I have also leveraged my high assurance software background to progress internal initiatives with our Digital Quality Management working group.m leading to improved software development processes and increased requirement visibility and traceability.

Senior Systems Engineer providing Mission System support for the RNZAF. Workedacross three P-3K2 Orion Software mod-releases, supervising qualification anddriving test schedules.Other duties include:• Design, installation, and integration testing of hardware modifications to the Mission SystemsSimulation Laboratory.• Project Manager under supervision for an obsolescence based simulator hardware upgrade.This includes aspects of systems engineering and DO-178, along with simulator qualification inorder to be certified for training pilots.• Part-time role as a Simulation Technician, supporting the Seasprite helicopter full-motion-flightsimulator and the RNZAF night vision goggle trainer.• Chair of Continuous improvement program, a LEAN based approach to measure and improvesection workflow.
