I operate as a sole trader/supervisor, building high quality architecturally designed homes, extensions and renovations in and around Victoria's Surf Coast. I hold dual trade, enabling me to work both as a plumber and builder which guarantees high standards and a safe work environment on all projects.

Employed as Construction Supervisor for delivery of a project comprising 4 shops and 4 apartments in Pearl Street, Torquay. On site I was in charge of all trades, purchasing and delivery of building materials, OH&S including site inductions, tool box meetings and checking SWMS making the project Work Safe compliant.My duties also included management of all civil works, building inspections both with surveyors and engineers, as well as organising and running fortnightly meetings with stakeholders.Having dual trade allows me to have a hands on approach to building, a method I use to earn respect of all concerned. This allows me to be in control of quality and gets all involved working with me in a safe environment.

Employed as a Building Supervisor with Anitua Constructions on Lihir Island, Papua New Guinea. This position was fly in fly out on a 2/2 roster. In this role I was responsible for managing construction of multiple projects including:- Lihir International School- Design and construction of accommodation for 450 FIFO workers- Shut down, upgrades and maintenance at Lihir Gold Mine- Sports field with club room facilities- Water treatment plant on Manus Island- 300 house and land package in Port MoresbyIn this role I was also responsible for coordinating a labour force of 150 across all projects and multiple trades, managing OH&S matters for each site, and actively involved in the pricing and estimating of all jobs.Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with a broad range of people were key to this role, particularly given the nature of the location where English is spoken as a second language, as was the ability to work autonomously.Lihir is a gold mine run by Newcrest Mining Ltd, and all building codes are to Australian standards.
