Co-founded GoalSumo.com as the sole Full-Stack engineer that transformed a simple idea into a web SaaS that served thousands of users. Responsible for end-to-end product development, technical infrastructure, and customer-facing features.Key Contributions:- Implemented SaaS web application from scratch: Built a scalable, cloud-based SaaS application from initial concept to production, managing both front-end and back-end development.- NodeJS backend servers: Architected, implemented, and integrated event-driven Node.js, NestJS, Express, Socket.IO, and RabbitMQ servers.- Database Design: Developed a central application relational SQL database and developed the corresponding queries to fulfil business requirements.- Local-First Web Design: Built local-first and web synchronization for local client databases and a central cloud database via Postgres, IndexedDB, and SqLite. All localization automatically synchronized to a custom sync microservice via Socket.IO and Apollo GraphQL Server/Client.- Complex front-end and back-end state management: Used a combination of RXJS Functional Reactive Programming, MobX, and Redux to implement a bespoke React client-side that automated sync using CRDT technologies. Designed Reactive Architecture requirements with RxJS.- N-Tier Architecture Development: Used a combination of NestJS (Typescript, MikroORM) and Java Spring (Java) to implement "clean code" archictecture on the server side, building a combination of REST endpoints, Socket Endpoints, and GraphQL endpoints.This experience strengthened my ability to drive projects end-to-end, think creatively to overcome resource limitations, and consistently deliver a high-quality user experience.
