Dean is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at Cresset Capital. He works closely with accomplished families throughout the country, providing personalized advice and customized solutions to address their complex needs.He has spent nearly three decades guiding entrepreneurs, technology executives and entertainers through meaningful events in their financial lives. Mr. Jackson’s holistic approach is driven by both understanding a client’s values and aspirations while delivering sophisticated strategies that encompass their total financial picture, including tax and estate planning, credit and liquidity needs, charitable giving, and wealth preservation. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), Dean advises business owners and facilitates resources through all phases of the entrepreneurial life cycle- from founding to transition planning and, ultimately, finding purpose and satisfaction beyond an exit. Prior to joining Cresset with his team, Dean was partner at Constellation Wealth Advisors, which was acquired by First Republic Bank in 2015. Dean served as Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management until April 2023. He is a member of the legacy Constellation Team Investment Committee at Cresset which creates portfolios that implement tailored solutions across all asset classes. Before Constellation, Dean ran a wealth advisory team for 14 years at Merrill Lynch in San Francisco.Dean earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in Economics from The University of California, Irvine and has held the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation since 2002.Active in giving back to the community, Dean supports GLIDE and serves on its Mobile Services Task Force in San Francisco. And, he and his family are deeply committed to the mission of the Music Academy of the West in Montecito, CA.
