ABC Online Courses is a leading provider of Open edX® technology, the world's premium Open Source learning management system (LMS) and course management system (CMS) software, serving at the global level. This is an executive role, with total overall company responsibility, including finance, legal, HR, with a main focus on technology sales and contract negotiation with some of the world's premier companies, government agencies, the world's largest inter-governmental organisation, universities, and startups. It is a hands-on role where I actively engage with clients to develop and optimise their online education programs and platforms.▪ Key responsibilities: Cloud based educational LMS/CMS software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales, contract writing and negotiation, IT project management, technical advisory regarding online course development and cloud deployment, concurrently administrate multiple LMS and CMS platforms across the globe, instructor and/or learner technical helpdesk support▪ Other roles:Executive decision maker and legal company representative, compliance with HMRC and Companies House, approval of quarterly VAT returns, approval of annual accounts, corporation tax strategy, vendor relations, international tax due diligence, bookkeeping, HR and payroll support, interviewing, employee on-boarding and off-boarding, Company spokesperson. Managing 3rd party integrations and customisations including e-commerce, LTI, SCORM.▪ Achievements:Designed and developed a sustainable business strategy with a high percentage ROI. Open edX® was developed by Harvard and MIT in 2012 and it is the world’s premier open-source learning management system (LMS) software whose development led to the creation of www.edx.org. It is used by 9 out of 10 of the Times Higher Education Top 10 global universities and major companies around the world. ▪ Key responsibilities: To help manage the core team of Open edX® developers by preparing bi-weekly sprint retrospectives for the members of the Core Committers program. Inspire, coach, coordinate and lead a team of twenty one volunteer software engineers and product managers from fifteen different companies to complete bi-annual manual software version testing on the Open edX® learning management system (LMS) and course management system (CMS).▪ Other roles: Marketing. To plan monthly online community events and organise the annual in-person conference. Personal presentations and talks for online and in-person events and conferences, and content development for online training courses to train new community members. Online discussion forum moderation and technical end user support.▪ Achievements:Designed and managed the successful implementation of the first comprehensive open source software testing plan for the global Open edX® Community.

Paramount is a leading Indonesian group of companies primarily invested in land, property development, real estate management, hotels, textiles, forestry, education, technology, radio and print media. Reporting to the Group CEO, advised on sustainable strategy development, new business development, technological innovation, marketing and international communications, press conferences, managed executive education programmes, vendor relations, and oversaw the construction and launch of a new university campus.▪ Key responsibilities: Assisting the Group CEO and CEO in a business development capacity and helping to launch new companies within the group.▪ Other roles: Editor-in-Chief for the company magazine with 15,000 copies circulated monthly.▪ Achievements: Directed the launch of a new startup online education website that attracted top public and private learning partners and successfully enrolled over 200,000 learners and also gained more than 200,000 Facebook Likes. Met with and collaborated with the Indonesia Minister of Higher Education Prof. Mohammad Nuh on a monthly basis as Honorary Chairman of the website.
