Being a Brand Ambassador for Murray McDavid is a truly extraordinary job which presents new opportunities and challenges each and everyday, these are some of those delights... Events, Events, Events: Planning/co-ordinating/executing tastings and festivals take up most of my time at the moment, I work closely with the Whisky Lounge to preach the good gospel at their shows around the UK. My biggest challenge to date was the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival where we opened our doors for the first time and welcomed guests from around the world, showcasing our inspired Scotch whiskies crafted in our traditional dunnage warehouse at Coleburn Distillery. Other notable events: - Private whisky tastings aboard the 'Murray McDavid'. - An evening of Live Jazz & Whisky at Montpellier House- Murray McDavid Tweet TastingWhisky Selection/Strategy:As well as enjoying meeting people on my travels (whether in the industry or not), I get to spend time at Coleburn Distillery where I work closely with David Simpson (Murray McDavid Whisky Creation) to select single malt whiskies that fit the Murray McDavid style to bottle. Currently we are spending time to focus on creating strategies for future MMD releases which will now also include grain whiskies and blends. Social Media: Over the past year I have introduced Murray McDavid to the world of social media, mainly focusing our efforts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We now use these effectively to keep in communication with followers, letting them know about events/products we have on the horizon. I am particularly proud of the series of tweet tastings I've held over the past 12 months, the style I introduced added another dimension to online whisky tastings. Design:My background is in photography and design so naturally I was drafted in to lend my skills to this side of the project. Since starting with Murray McDavid I have been a key figure in re-branding and designing all POS materials and producing imagery.

Dean Jode has been shooting too commission for the past five years ranging from food photography through to social documentary through to fashion. Having studied both editorial and advertising he has a vast understanding and is capable to shoot to the tightest brief. As well as shooting campaigns/products/people Dean also has an in depth skill of retouching.
