Marketing Manager | Systems Engineer
Manage on-demand operations while defining the company's overarching vision. Play a crucial role in making strategic decisions that shape the company's future and impact the direction of the brand. Devise go-to-market (GTM) strategies and deliver multiple marketing campaigns to a target audience increasing traffic and conversions. Manage the Marketing and Communications budget, in liaison with relevant colleagues, to ensure appropriate and effective spend. Manage the resource and maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments etc. Act as ‘brand guardian’ to co-ordinate all ad design, print production, vehicle livery, signage and work with external agencies to provide content to third-party publishers.Oversee all operations including app product development, monetisation, logistics, workflow, marketing, accounts, training, troubleshooting, end-user support and develop company short-term and long-term strategies. Work closely with sub development and technical colleagues to continuously nurture our software platforms for the public and our partners. Ensure ongoing compliance with GDPR, accredited certification schemes and app store policies.Key Achievements:Developed and implemented an online appointment system for plumbing and electrical services, serving both residential and commercial clients. This led to a 30% increase in revenue in the first year and a 40% increase in the second year..Project managed and developed two emergency on-demand apps with an outsourced team within one year, preparing them for publication on the Apple and Play stores, and achieved £55k in savings with a £25k budget.Recruited and trained a marketing executive driving improved marketing performance.
