Dean has over 30 years experience in regulatory compliance and environmental management. He has a wide array of professional credentials both in government and in private industry. He has managed large-scale remediation projects as well as helped develop bio-remediation techniques for contaminated petroleum and hazardous waste sites. He has experience in Pesticide management, Hazardous Waste transportation and disposal, and wastewater sampling, monitoring and treatment, He has multiple years of front line experience in Emergency Response to spills and environmental emergencies and served on the USEPA Regional Response Team earlier in his career. He has developed innovative wastewater monitoring techniques for monitoring discharges under WPDES permits. His passion is problem solving with the emphasis on environmental stewardship and compliance. He has a BA in Environmental Sciences from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and a MS in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland - University College, Adelphi, MD.
