Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on equipment and machinery for this large foundry and soybean processing plant. Responsible for mill motors, hoist systems, conveyors, overhead cranes, tank systems, and exterior lighting as well as general electrical maintenance. Fabricate machinery components. Instruct line workers on basic maintenance procedures. Install and wire computer system and plant hydraulics. Manage special projects which have included the building and installation of a compactor system. Prioritize preventive maintenance schedules with emergency maintenance to minimize/eliminate downtime.

Assigned to numerous new construction and renovation deadline-driven projects. Completed installation of machinery in clean room at Micron in Salt Lake City UT. Finished the installation of two fire alarm systems at Krannert Center (University of Illinois) and Carmike Cinemas in Fort Wayne, IN. Completed electrical power and light project for the mile long Bergen Railroad Tunnel renovation in New Jersey including the installation and trouble shooting of 480 electrical service. Coordinated the installation of cable tray and rigid conduit at Steel Dynamics new construction in Columbia City, IN, and served as a team leader for five electricians. Completed renovation/maintenance project at Proctor & Gamble manufacturing facility and installed feeder, lighting, and receptacles of Kohl’s new construction in OH, Steel Dynamics Inc. in Columbia City, IN, and Lagrange Hospital in Lagrange, IN.
