Dean is a graduate of the University of Florida (May 2018), where he earned a masters degree in Accounting with a graduate minor in Real Estate. Dean obtained his CPA License with the State of Florida as of August, 2019.Upon graduation, Dean has passed all four CPA exams, completed one year of work experience, and has obtained his CPA License with the State of Florida. Dean began work at RSM in Fort Lauderdale as a CIM Associate in July of 2018. His goal was to learn the technical side of tax consulting while improving upon customer service. In January of 2019, Dean formed his own company, Kingston Management Incorporated (KMI), to provide accounting and tax services to small businesses. In May of 2019, Dean accepted an Assistant Controller position at D & S Management in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dean is looking to build an understanding of all accounting services necessary for small business as well as continue building upon his understanding of the US Tax Code.During his time as an undergraduate, Dean spent a summer interning for RSM as a Tax Associate in Fort Lauderdale, FL for 2 months and spent approximately 2 years as a accounting research associate for Gleim Publications in Gainesville, FL. Dean held positions at UF on campus, such as President of the Pike Halftime philanthropy, Finance Captain for Dance Marathon, Internal Vice President of his fraternity, and student government rush chair. He prides himself in supporting charities such as CHOMP Cancer and the Florida Diabetes Camp. The Pike Halftime Philanthropy organized and run by Dean raised a grand total of $100,000 to benefit these charities.
