I am employed with the Madison School District as the Assistant Director of Operations of Building Services. Duties include: administrative, HR, hiring, termination, training, budget & asset management, scheduling, strategic planning, quality control, inspection, maintenance, and conflict resolution for approximately 200 people. I represent Building Services in various roles, boards, and functions with Senior Leaders as required or requested. Previously, I was the Superintendent for an Aircraft Maintenance Unit, USAF. Duties included directing daily operations, maintenance oversight, advising/directing the production team, supervisory roles, and Sr Human Resource Manager. I led 300 diverse personnel in 22 technical career fields. I directed, implemented, and conducted employee training, performance reviews, recognition programs, scheduling, counseling, career progression, and succession planning. I focused on collaborative team-building, employee development, innovative solutions, and strategic goals to surpass production metrics. I am comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and capable of making critical adjustments to meet operation goals and organizational objectives. I have DoD program oversight experience and served as Lead Production Super, Quality Assurance Director & Inspector, Production Superintendent, Flightline Production Expediter, and Aircraft Maintainer. My career has forced me to think on my feet and allowed me to serve with a very talented and diverse set of technicians. I am accustomed to building teams to diagnose and solve complex technical problems and overcome personnel challenges.
