Hello!I would like to start off by thanking you for taking the time to review my profile. I’m Dean. I have worked in the IT field for nearly a decade, working under, and eventually beside, a full team of network analysts and system support specialists; having built my career around three main principles, expediency, accuracy, and approachability. Starting in 2012, I began my career as an IT intern and quickly rose to senior most IT contact within the business; Handling everything from Network Communication Diagnostics, to VOIP configuration and management. My current role as IT Infrastructure Technician Level 2, Requires me to change gears rapidly. From assisting end users with hardware or software issues, to troubleshooting VPN connections, Network Infrastructure issues, or maintaining the backup systems. After our business merged with a larger global company, I’ve had to act as a liaison between the business and corporate IT, balancing the needs of the business with the requirements of the larger corporations' protocols and procedures, thus easing the transition from a small business to large corporation. I learned very quickly that IT professionals are required to wear many different hats, and it is one of many aspects I love about this profession!In addition to eight plus years of hands-on experience, I bring with me a distinct and immense hunger to learn, a customer-centric/Friendly demeanor, as well as steady handed expertise in diagnostics of many different systems; including Desktop support (Mac and PC), Network Communications (DHCP, AD, Security, Windows Server), and much more.
