Helping improve the quality of life and wellbeing of individuals, the local community and to assist the Facilities Manager in the promotion, development, and management of the facility.• Managing a team of over 15 members of staff and helping oversee the hiring, training and development of employees• Overseeing weekly staff training sessions that included lifesaving skills in the water, first aid/CPR and customer service skills to maintain a high level of competence• Planned and delivered pool lifeguard courses with 100% pass rate • Responsible for complying with pool policies and procedures• Liaising with other partners in the sport and health sector to organise and run events such as swimming galas• Ordered new stock and maintained an up-to-date record of supplies
