I have served in several organizations in a senior executive function. I am currently serving as the CFO of Welded Construction LP, a Perrysburg Ohio based pipeline construction company. Prior to this role, I was the CFO of Sunrise Cooperative, an agricultural cooperative servicing Farmers in North Central Ohio. Prior to this role I served as the CFO of Hickory Farms, a nationally known provider of premium specialty foods and gift packages. This role provided great flexibility and variety, including oversight of Accounting, Finance, IT, Treasury, Risk & Taxation, as well as being a member of the Executive Committee, aiding in decision making entity wide. A large duty of the CFO of Hickory Farms is to manage all reporting and communication between the Company and our Private Equity investors Sun Capital Partners. Before taking on the CFO role, I spent 18 months as the Corporate Controller. Duties as the Corporate Controller included management of all day to day accounting functions, taxation, treasury management, cash flow forecasting, balance sheet modeling, loss prevention for both the US entity, as well as the Canadian subsidiary. As always, there is a nearly endless list of projects to deal with on top of everything else. Prior to joining Hickory Farms, I was the CFO of a growing privately held telecommunications company Page Plus Cellular. My Primary role was bringing a professionalism to the finance and accounting functions that was lacking, as well as contributing timely accurate reporting to the other members of the senior management team. Adding structure, and human capital to strategically grow this successful Company into an entity no longer over reliant on a small number of people, instead of process and teamwork. Prior to my time at Page Plus Cellular, I spent several years as an auditor with Plante & Moran, a mid western CPA firm with 15 offices and ~1,500 employees at the time.
