Seized the opportunity to combine a Career Break with a Passion Project following redundancy from Canon Australia after 20 years of service. Cycling tourism industry – ran cycling tours across Europe and Australia for groups between 20 and 30 cyclists. Responsible for all backend client database (bookings/cancellations/ reporting etc) Tour web updates, design and development. Creation of all graphical artwork for marketing material and client booklets (Adobe Suite). Technical support for multiple device platforms and applications along with developing and delivering boutique tours around the world. Health and safety is a top priority on all trips.

Manage the Relationship with Canon's Independent Business & Consumer Partners. Develop, update and implement processes that enhance and simplify the business activity. Build Relationships and maintain trust. Manage accreditation, performance and contracts. Positively contribute at a high and professional level to the achievement of mutual gain. Represent Canon and maintain the high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsible for all aspects of technical, software support and training for Canon consumer products. Develop and maintain goodwill between Canon, distributors, dealers, agents, government departs and end-users.  Partner with the Indirect Service departments to ensure operational processes are optimised for the benefit of Canon Indirect Product Group. Provide technical training of Canon’s dealers, agents and/ or third-party service providers. Select, evaluate and appoint support service organisations. Eliminate non-strategic Providers. To be responsible for all aspects of Technical and software support for all Canon Consumer Products. Provides the level of service that matches or exceeds the Business Partner’s expectations. Maintain and Manage Service Provider's contractual obligations. Provide and answer technical questions relating to hardware and software, posed by Canon’s customers and Service Providers. Monitoring of key elements of the Service Providers operations to ensure it is positioned to meet its service requirements. These elements include but are not limited to; parts holdings, training needs, eServices, preventative maintenance schedules, general service processes and procedures. Review and streamline process and policy to mutually and financially benefit all stakeholders.

Alpha Computers was an Apple Authorised Reseller based on the Mornington Peninsula. Starting with 4 staff members, over 8 years the business grew to over 20 employees selling and servicing multiple brands. I successfully ran the service division.
