As a clinical research fellow at Conway Institute, UCD, I conduct research on kidney diseases and cellular mechanisms, aiming to improve the understanding and treatment of renal disorders and enhance the quality of life of patients. I have over seven years of experience in renal medicine, and I am pursuing an MD from UCD, focusing on molecular cell biology. I have developed skills in data analysis, laboratory techniques, and research design, and I have contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations. In addition to my research role, I am also a special lecturer and clinical tutor at UCD/Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where I share my knowledge and passion for medicine and research with the next generation of doctors and scientists. I obtained my MRCPI from The Royal College of Physicians in Ireland, and my M.B.B.S. from University College Cork. I value collaboration, curiosity, and excellence, and I seek to join a team that shares these principles and strives to make a difference in the field of renal medicine. I have a passion for teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate clinical skills and knowledge.
