I have been in B2B and DSD supply chain for much of my sales career in roles ranging from entry level sales to Key Account Manager with Southern Wine & Spirts. I was General Manager of a family-owned wine and spirits distribution company, which closed due to COVID-19. I am looking for a challenging new position with a company offering professional growth, and a positive work environment. I have a passion for sales, mentoring and winning market share. I have lived in the Reno area for 30 years and have deep roots in this community.As a Territory Manager for Southern Wine and Spirits, I was responsible for managing the largest off-premise territory in Nevada, with annual sales of $4.5 million. I met or exceeded monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and executed against sales incentives. This was possible through strong relationships, follow-through, and knowledge of the features and benefits of the products I represented. As General Manager of Revel NV, I was responsible for all aspects of the sales supply chain. This included, but was not limited to preparing annual budgets, onboarding and terminating supplier partners, controlling inventory levels to 45 days on hand, maintaining compliance with local and state liquor laws. I conducted regular department head meetings, as well as weekly sales meetings and trainings. I identified and leveraged assets that had reached maximum profitability and sold off less profitable items in our portfolio. I built a successful culture of sales success on these key ideals:• Most sales are lost because no one asked for the sale. • Relationships are damaged from a lack in follow-through and/or not delivering on promises made. • Client retention is the fastest and most economical way to maintain market share and grow secondary sales. • Limit unforced errors.Sales of fine wine, solar, or widgets all require the same preparation, enthusiasm, respect, and ability to close.
