Working as Design Team Leader of a market leading medical devices company, specialising in the design and manufacture of therapeutic furniture for children with special needs.Responsibilities within this role included the management of 7 multi-disciplined Design Engineers and development of multiple concurrent projects from concept to manufacture and beyond. Ensuring the safety and reliability of all designs was critical through extensive testing and conformance with ISO 9001 / 14001 standards. During my time at Jenx I developed a number of new to market innovations alongside various complete product revamps, always seeking continuous improvement opportunities within the design and manufacture, associated design processes and the CAD / PDM management systems.
