With a passion for theatre arts and the community, I have a wealth of experience producing, directing, choreographing, performing, leading community-based theatre projects and teaching. Having trained with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and obtained a Teaching and Learning Diploma, I returned to further study theatre during 2020 at the University of York. My breadth of work has ranged from the Heydays (aged over 55) at Leeds Playhouse, to the children and young people of youth theatre company Class Act, and the performing arts schools of Stagecoach. In 2021, I became a director of Bramley Community Arts CIC and as part of Leeds Year of Culture 2023, produced Bramley & Stanningley’s first arts and culture festival. Some of my credits include productions at The West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds Town Hall and Bradford Alhambra theatre(s), as well as award winning pantomimes at Morley Town Hall, pantomime at Castleford Phoenix Theatre, Shout! The mod musical at the Carriageworks Theatre, Boogie Nights at Cleckheaton Town Hall, The Addams Family at Batley Town Hall, Made in Dagenham & Calendar Girls at Ossett Town Hall, and a UK touring production of the musical Godspell.
