Responsible for looking after all aspects of production. Duties included looking after 3 Phase Separation, Turbine driven Gas Compression, Gas Dehydration, Pig Launching Operations, Deluge systems, Pot Water production, Produced water treatment systems, Oil/Condensate Export, Sea Water Lift, Electric and Diesel Driven Fire Water Pumps, Wellheads and sub-sea tiebacks, Methanol Injection, Flare systems, Chemical injection, Lab Analysis, Instrument and Plant air systems.

Worked on two assets under Woodgroup, Triton FPSO and also the Beatrice Complex. Role was Production Technician/stand in First Line Supervisor on the Beatrice Alpha. Responsible for overwatching the Fire and Gas systems and relevant safety system inhibits, Permit Issuing authority, basic CRO duties and liaising with outside production team. As an outside Production Technician responsible for all aspects of outside production including Wellheads, Crude oil processing, Water Treatment, Lab Analysis, Utlilities, Sea water injection, ESP (Downhole pumps). Formed part of the Decommissioning team. Decommissioning operations included Full plant flushing, Pipeline cleaning/pigging operations, Wellhead abandonment and PBU monitoring, Preparing plant systems for Air Gapping. Previous Experience on Triton FPSO also included Gas Compression, Gas dehydration, OSPAR water treatment, Methanol injection and Gas Lift systems.

Completed 3 year sponsored apprenticeship and taken on full time as a qualified Process Operator. Responsible for looking after all aspects production, on both ‘Top Tier COMAH registered’ Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Glycol Plants, as part of a highly skilled production team. Process systems included Reaction, Purification, Scrubbing, Refrigeration, Separation, Absorption, Gas compressors, Distillation, Strippers, Cooling Towers, Product Storage and Vacuum package systems.
