As Rig Manager for the past 10 years, I have been responsible for leading various offshore drilling rigs internationally, both strategically and operationally, including a staff of up to 10 direct reports and over 80 team members. My duties included the financial, technical, health, and safety of both assets and team members. I have proven ability to spearhead the turnaround of rigs that required an increase in efficiency and productivity, people, processes, and profitability. I led day to day operations, planned maintenance programs, including the use of the company’s CMMS for auditing of performance, along with equipment and investigation of processes. I am a recognized expert in well control, high temperature, and pressure wells, and extended reach wells. Furthermore, I am known for leadership that includes effective delegation, collaboration, and decision-making skills that resulted in efficiency and attention to the bottom line and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
