In the context of the industry I work in, Employee Share Plan Management and Administration, my role is to lead the effective day-to-day management and support of our Project Management Group. I am responsible for ensuring that all project staff apply standard practices, processes and technology in the management of all projects undertaken, including the stakeholder engagement plans, development of scoping documents, project plans, stakeholder communications, impact analysis, implementation plans and all supporting tools and controls.Another key part of my role is to allocate and manage resourcing for over 140 employee projects/events managed by our Project Management Group annually for ASX listed and overseas listed companies. More importantly, I need to ensure that all project allocations are balanced in terms of staff workloads, knowledge and skillsets to ensure timely delivery of activities.I am experienced in the hiring of project staff, including definition of position requirements and necessary skills, whilst preparing for and conducting consistent interviews. In what can be classed as a niche industry at times, I value both experience and potential and attempt to select candidates with complementary skills to build our team.Project Management: Where ever business requirements demand, I also continue to oversee major projects that may include small to medium client migrations, implementation of new clients/plans, large and complex recurring events and important business improvement and change initiatives.

I was responsible for a sub-section of our overall Project Management Group, supervising and supporting the project management coordinators. The coordinators oversee small to medium sized recurring employee events. i.e. employee plan offers and vesting events. At that time I reported into the Manager, Project Management. A key component was to assist the Manager by specifically supporting our project coordinators, to release him/her from some of the day to day and technical responsibilities within this space.The role is responsible for ensuring that this team applies standard practices, processes and technology in the management of all projects undertaken, including project plans, stakeholder communications, implementation plans and all supporting tools and controls.Basically I handled and was:o First line escalation point for issues as a result of projects managed by project coordinators.o Resource management focusing on allotment of project activity to project coordinators.o Preparing management reporting based on agreed performance metrics within the team.Project Management: Leading projects that may include small to medium client migrations, implementation of new clients/plans, large and complex recurring events and medium sized business improvement initiatives. Aside from this role’s formal reporting lines, as the Project Manager, the role is reportable to each project’s sponsor/owner.
