Dean has extensive experience in the electronics supply chain with more than half of that in the outsource environment. He held senior manufacturing positions in the semiconductor industry at Philips and AMD where he helped pioneer the offshore and outsource manufacturing supply chain.He is founder of four contract manufacturing companies, one in the US and three in Asia.From 1993 to 1998 he was the Director of Supply Chain Integration at Xilinx building up the first completely dedicated fabless supply chain and VP Operations at NeoMagic 1999-2000 dismantling an outdated supply chain.He was founder and Executive Director of the Electronics Supply Chain Association (ESCA) and sister Japan ESCA. 1997 - 2010. This organization was founded to define and document a build cycle measured in months and a distribute cycle measured in days and to develop the necessary linkages in the supply chain that were sensitive to its idiosyncrasies.He went back to his manufacturing roots with V-Case Int'l focusing on cases and enclosures with emphasis on the needs of solar industry.
