I founded Help A Veteran Inc. to be able to reach out and help Veterans EVERYWHERE. I can help any Veteran with a V.A. Claim, no matter where they are located. Thanks to the V.A. implementing the Healthyvet and the E-Benefits websites, I can Log in to a Veterans account and View their records along with looking at their claims process. From the E-benefits website I can file a claim, or add new evidence which I find in their medical records. I don't have a degree in law, but I can represent a Veteran in the 11th Circuit Court of appeals. The Veteran only has to fill out a form for me to appear at the hearing for them. I have presented my own cases at 2 separate court hearings, and sat in with 1 other Veteran who was being represented by the Department of Veterans Affairs. I have been told by Judge Sullivan at my own 11th Circuit Court of Appeals case that I knew more than the Department of Veterans Affairs representative who was supposed to be helping me. Judge Sullivan went to the event to dismiss my representative and only talk to me. That case helped me have another hearing, which won me my 100% TDIU Disability. After what the 11th Circuit judges told me about how I handled my cases, I decided to further my education. In 2012 when I received my settlement from the V.A, I decided to start my own Non Profit Organization with most of the money from my settlement. I then used over $100,000.00 of that money to further my journey helping Veterans, along with Active Duty Service Personnel who were getting out of the military and needed my help in getting the disability benefits which they rightfully deserved. I traveled at my own expense to many places and across several states. I even returned to my old base in Key West to investigate the Hazardous Materials which I came in contact with there. There's NO LIMIT'S on what I will do in order to help a Veteran with a case. Even if that means fighting with the EPA and the Military.
