Entering the film industry from a successful period as a freelance stills photographer, with genuine interest in the needs of my clients and forward thinking with regards to technology. Understanding the benefits that these advances could bring to standard industry practices, secured a position as a high value freelance technician. This led to several major success points, namely navigating the change in the film industry as it migrated from celluloid to digital based acquisition. It was at this point that freelancer became multiple person company.What followed was the successful ‘sales and customer focused’ entry into what is essentially technical facilities management, whilst faced with significantly stronger competition. Today Imagezone stands as the largest and most successful independent facility in New Zealand Notable mention should be made of the 5 year time frame it took from conception, to the position we are very proud to be in today.
