Our vertically integrated team of Architect, Senior Designers, Project Developers, Project Managers and Administrative team offer our clients a full scope of services, starting with initial assessment and planning, full design services, project execution, and interior furnishing and decorating.

I volunteer for The Home Builders Association of Greater Cleveland as a board member

-Member of the board of directors for Payne and Payne.-Director of our project management department.-Responsible for all of the purchasing for a 25 million dollar a year company-Represent Payne and Payne nationally as a member of CBUSA and sit on the power 30 council for that organization.-I have directly managed over 70 custom home projects and remodels in my career-Responsible for interior design on most of those high end projects as well.-I am a certified green professional through the NAHBWhile those are my day to day roles I really love working on business improvement:-Successfully reorganized our business using Quick Response Manufacturing methodologies to reduce lead times and improve our quality of service. This is ongoing. I have lean manufacturing experience but needed a solution that worked better in custom applications. I self taught myself QRM and relentlessly pushed it through.-Spearheaded branching our business out into remodeling, selling and managing those projects gaining us a foothold in that market segment for much needed diversification. -Implemented many changes over the years to how we build a home based on building science and green building advancements. -Wrote an estimating program to quickly and accurately price a custom home.

•Project manager for the transfer on an assembly line between plants. The assembly line manufactured product for one of Liebert’s largest and toughest customers.•Responsible for optimizing the assembly line layout, designing the test lab, specifying necessary equipment, coordinating resources, negotiating with subcontractors, and purchasing new equipment.•Utilized value stream mapping for the optimization of the line before transfer.•Worked in the difficult situation of learning the product/processes from employees who knew they were being laid off, even getting them to suggest improvements.•Led the training of new employees at the Columbus plant for the line, instituting a quality first mindset.•Worked closely with the customer to pass audit of processes after move.•Accomplished all of this in under three months, right on schedule.•Performed a line supervisor’s job along with ME position for 5 months. The line had zero defects for that time frame with the brand new employees.•Used value stream mapping to analyze the overall business for our main product family, generated a new layout and process organization that reduced manufacturing lead time from 3.9 days to 1.2 days. The line was being implemented as I left, and last I heard operating well.•Designed and implemented fixtures for repeatability.•Used capability studies, fishbone diagrams, regression analysis, T&F testing, etc...; to solve corrective action requests and daily firefighting.

Quality Engineer•Worked with EDM, grinding, drilling, fluid flow test machinery, and gaging in a micron tolerance level environment.•Qualified and source approved new machinery for production.•Performed machine/process capability analysis, gage R+R’s, correlation studies, T & F testing, and FMEA’s to address quality issues and solve customer C.A.R.’s.•Member of new product development and production launch preparation team.•Determined gaging requirements for new product and ordered according to schedule.•Involved with EDM process and flow gaging development to meet tolerances pushing the edge of technology.•Evaluated and tracked prototype quality for prototype builds to prevent manufacturability issues.•Utilized lean manufacturing concepts to plan production line layout, manning, and production equipment needs.•Successfully implemented lean manufacturing improvements in an atmosphere resistant to change. •Value stream mapped the Celect nozzle production line in order to eliminate waste.•Created process documentation including control plans and gage instructions.•Trained operators on quality systems.•Successfully prepared production lines and teams for QS9000 certification.
