Responsible for the administration of recreation programs at the Valley Sports Center including adult and youth sports leagues, tournaments, summer camps, and more. Primary duties include organization and administration of sports leagues and tournaments for youth and adults. Facility scheduling, rental contracts, individual instruction, website maintenance, facility management and customer relations.

Provided day-to-day supervision of Athletics Communications department which included coverage of 15 intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division I level. Southbury, Ct

Responsible for running sports leagues including basketball program of over 800 youth and adult softball with approximately 200 participants. Also administrated men’s basketball league. Supervision of basketball stat crew of 25 high school kids. Hired and assigned referees and umpires, scheduled games, purchased supplies, monitored budget, reported results and conducted summer employee interviews. Worked closely with, and scheduled for those running additional recreation programs for the town. Opened and closed office on daily basis and acted as community liaison.

First full-time recreation director for Town of Hermon, Maine. Organized department and developed all-new programs including: Summer Program, Before-and-After School Care, Adult P.E. (morning exercise for adults), Santa's Saturdays, Halloween Party, skating rink and a cross country ski trail. I also ran an Easter party, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, hooked on fishing (ice fishing/say no to drugs day), Christmas tree lighting ceremony, the annual Fun Day Festival and more. All programs were financially self-sufficient generating an annual gross income of well over $200,000, and a profit of over $60,000 per year for the departmental enterprise account. Was responsible for running youth soccer, youth basketball and flag football programs including administration, registration, scheduling and fundraising. Four years as president of the Hermon Little League for baseball and softball. Instrumental in upgrading little league facilities to include a new concession stand/press box, public address system, electronic scoreboard, new backstop, batting cage, pitching machines, flag pole, etc. Created and ran the annual Hermon Little League Golf Scramble four times. Organized benefit show in local auditorium featuring Maine humorist Tim Sample. Created ECP Program where every child participates in all our programs, regardless of financial situation. Maintain web page, layout and design of flyers and brochures.
