I architected the Master Brightness control system for the 777 and co-wrote a paper with Wendy Hansen-Ferry. In my initial IR&D position at Boeing, I researched the use of electro-chromic coatings for windows for possible use on the flight deck windows. This technology was eventually incorporated on the 787 passenger windows.
