Hi! My name is Deana Phillips and I am a 2020 graduate of Asbury University. I received my Bachelor's in Business with an emphasis in Sports Management and Marketing. I served as a student liaison for the Asbury University Athletic department and loved getting to interact with so many different people! Since completing my degree, I started working for Smokin' Oaks Organic Farms. I was over their marketing/social media and sales! I loved this opportunity to get to know local folks in the community, strengthen my customer service skills, and use the things I learned while acquiring my degree.Currently, I work for the City of White House as the Community Outreach Coordinator! I handle their social medias throughout 9 departments and oversee the Website for the City. In this role, I also handle all events through the City which include things like the White House Farmer’s Market, Memorial Day Celebration, and our Christmas Parade just to name a few. I write and create graphics for the local paper “Word on White House”, put together month end reports, answer all records requests, and answers all phone calls for the Administration department. Lastly, I assist the City Recorder in completing tasks to help all the Boards run efficiently.
