Maintaining solid relationships with both manufacturers and distributors was key to negotiating the marketing programs and coordinating participation in marketing events throughout the year.

As an Account Executive at this premier CMR (Certified Marketing Representative), I created directional marketing programs and strategies for regional, statewide and national clients. These programs and strategies provided solutions that connected buyers to sellers at the time of purchase, maximizing clients’ ROI and branding opportunities. I was responsible for 11 accounts, with estimated value of $2.5 million.

My primary task while interning and working at GSD&M was compiling competitive research on the Wal-Mart account, including price comparison shopping, Category Killer reports and evaluation of in-store signage, promotions, customers, store organization, etc. I worked with our Account Services team to ensure that our client stayed competitive against other big box retailers.
