I assisted in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable function for the department in charge of the accounts of Times Bookstores. My work was focused on daily accounting tasks which required consistent and high level of precision, including:a) manual verification of daily till check and the resulting daily account summary against independently-prepared supporting documents, b) verification of voucher transactions,c) application of accurate receipt transactions into JDE after reconciliation of records with bank statements.

I was the sole person in charge of bringing together all the major production elements required to create a show, working alongside the artistic director. This was a complex multi-party process which involved the following:1. Assessing the needs of the production and the end goal.2. Identifying the production elements and logistics required to achieve the end goal.3. Assembled a team of external crew suitable for the production while working with the office manager on budget and compliance.4. Ensured the evolving needs of the production were consistently being met by keeping correspondence with all suppliers, venue partner, and artistic director, as well as continuously identifying challenges to progress and negotiating solutions.5. Spearheaded the coordination of schedule for all artists, directors, and crew.6. Improvising ad-hoc solutions in addressing manpower issues, including collaboration with the artistic director on lighting designs and the singers on costumes/make-up, as well as collaboration with the external suppliers in executing instructions.7. Boosting the morales of the singers with words of encouragements, team-bonding activities, and gifts.

This was my debut in professional production management, working directly under the Production Manager. Main tasks and responsibilities:• Ensured clear, tactful issuance of directives in acting as the point of contact for 25 singers of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds.• Created a feasible and effective 6-week project schedule by liaising with all the artists, designers, and directors.• Successfully prevented aggravation of conflicts by practising conflict management strategies and sensitive interpersonal skills with the singers and directors.• Facilitated unexpected changes of schedule and plans by focusing on solutions to changing circumstances and rallying the cooperation of the artists.
