About Deana Seigler
With over 29 years in software engineering and leadership within the aerospace and defense sector, I bring a wealth of experience in developing and managing large-scale, mission-critical programs. Until my retirement in 2022, I led the Space & C2 Systems Software Engineering Directorate, overseeing a team of over 1,400 software engineers who supported an array of complex, space-focused programs across government and defense agencies. This role allowed me to work on projects with a profound impact and foster the development of dedicated, high-performing engineering teams.Today, as President of Friends of Rescue Animals, an all-volunteer organization, I lead a dedicated team focused on improving the lives of homeless animals in our community.
