As Business Line Leader for our Water and Natural Resources Practice at Fuss & O’Neill, I lead a talented team of engineers, scientists, and planners, collaborating to tackle a diverse range of infrastructure challenges with the goal of enhancing both our built and natural environments. Our team works on a range of water-related projects including climate resilience, ecological restoration, green infrastructure , dam engineering, water and sewer utility and process wastewater projects.My passion is incorporating nature-based solutions into projects to create value and maximize the positive impact that a project can have on a community. I work with our clients so that we can really understand their needs and create innovative approaches that best blend green and gray infrastructure. Additionally, My knowledge of funding sources also facilitates that ability of our clients to actually implement their projects. b

  Currently serve as Business Line Leader for Water & Natural Resources Business Line. Our business line is focused on providing innovative solutions for our clients to solve water-related challenges. These services include climate resiliency, flood resiliency, green infrastructure, stormwater management, wastewater engineering, water systems engineering, surface water quality, ecological restoration and wetlands science and permitting. Our clients include state, local and federal agencies as well as non-profit watershed and environmental organizations, utilities and private companies.Our team includes water resource engineers, environmental engineers, civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, wetlands scientists, biologists, water quality specialists and environmental planners that are located in offices throughout Southern New England.Some examples of our team's experience includes:Pawtuxet River Flood Resiliency Project which won a national APWA design award in 2017.Water Street Green Street which was the first green street in Rhode Island and one of the first two in New England.Newport Easton Beach UV Stormwater Treatment System which is the largest stormwater (non-CSO) UV system in the United States (62 MGD).Started my career at Fuss & O'Neill as an entry-level engineer in the wastewater department where I started to work on some of the first stormwater quality projects in the 1980s. That experience sparked my career long passion addressing stormwater flooding and water quality issues. Career included growing as the office manager for our Providence, RI office to a multi-disciplinary team of 40 professionals.
