Duties include:- full responsibility for the design and maintenance of all the company’s custom database solutions.- designing, developing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Access/VBA applications.- maintaining and supporting all internal MS SQL Server databases.- designing, writing, modifying and supporting custom reports using Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services.- designing, maintaining, and extending the internal SharePoint implementation (SharePoint 2019).- developing and maintaining custom forms and workflows using Nintex Forms/Workflow.

As Director of Software Development, I am responsible for all aspects of software development at B.C. & Associates Inc., a company that provides database and accounting software services to small to medium-sized businesses across Canada. Our software projects include custom integration with mid-level enterprise accounting software, commercial add-on packages, such as an employee scheduling and time tracking application, and a non-profit donation tracking and receipting program.My duties as Directory of Software Development include:- performing business analysis functions for most software projects- generating functional specifications for all software projects- leading teams of up to 3 programmers, often working on multiple simultaneous projects- managing the software development lifecycle from analysis through to implementation and training.
