Asset Protection Manager• Develop and manage systems for the efficient management of: • Product Security• Operations Security • Security Contracts Management • Lead the development of the Site APD Strategic Plan by working closely with site management.• Provide support to the management team in all security matters.• Assist the Senior Manager CSR & AP in developing the overall business strategy, particularly in regard to security. • Achieve safe and healthy working conditions, promote a high level of health and safety awareness and be responsible for the safe and efficient management of department. Promote and comply with the PJV Occupational Health & Safety Policy.• Achieve agreed environmental targets, legal compliance and incident prevention. Lead and promote the development of a culture of workforce environmental care and respect.• Maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders in PJV’s mining activities, consistent with Community Relations Policies.• Become actively involved in PJV’s aims and objectives of engaging with the local community and strive to leave a positive impact on the longer-term outcomes for local people. Promote the integration between this engagement and the success of the business.• Develop the Annual Plan for the department and drive achievement of continuous improvement targets. • Prepare and manage the budget for the department.• Ensure the development and maintenance of up to date job procedures for all tasks performed within the department.• Develop objectives for sharing common infrastructure and support services across PJV and cascade this throughout Department.• Ensure effective communication with delegate prior to departure from site.• Be visible in the workplace.

Implementing and periodic review of OHS processes on all Security activitiesRecommending improvements to OHS site wide policies in all aspects of Health, Safety and SecurityManaging, mentoring and training Health, Safety & Security Supervisors and Superintendents to ensure there is site compliance with OHS Systems and ProceduresAdvise and mentor site Managers on OHS Systems and Procedures including ICAM techniquesManagement and auditing of risk assessments including implementation of risk minimization across siteDay to day mentoring and provision of leadership to Security Officers, Security Superintendent, Contractor Personnel, Army, Police and District SecurityDeveloping training plans to maintain and up skill existing security staff including infield trainingManaging day to day security issues including conducting high level investigationsDeveloping and sustaining relationships with local and government authoritiesDeveloping & implementing strategies and plans for the further expansion of security requirements across the site in line with Lao Law and international standards Leading all security planning and initiatives across siteDevelop and implementation of all Site Security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with site and company requirements, International Law and Lao Labor and Human Rights laws Manage divisional budgets and contribute to budget and management plansAdhoc and monthly reporting on all divisional activitiesActing Health, Safety and Security Manager on an as needs basisAssist UXO Department on high level demolitions where requiredManage the end to end security logistics of all site gold and cash shipmentsProvide input into the Corporate Risk Assessments, Policies and ProceduresContract management of all Local, Government and Military Security assets utilized within the Sepon Mine.

Provide consulting services for corporate and industry security requirements in relation to: Event Security, Blast Assessment , Security Engineering Design, Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) Security Risk Assessment Develop training packages for armed forces deployment; explosive ordinance Disposal and Improvised Explosive Device DisposalEstablish enhanced security systems and provide security advice to international companies on best practiceConducting security assessments of port facility operations and recommending improvementsManagement of security project frameworks (both low and high level risk) through design, construction and implementationRisk assessments on existing processes, and training of pre-deployment Military Diving Teams, Military Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, Physical Protection System operationsPlanning and performance for movement of 'at risk' individuals for Static Transportation focused Protective Security Teams; including vehicle convoy movements,Support, train and assessment of Police Security OperationsTraining of Police investigation techniques using best practice methods in line with Australian standardsConducting risk assessments and compliance audits for maritime operating environments including ships at sea and port facility operations in high threat areas

Australian Clearance Diving Team 4; Preparation and training of operational teams deployed overseas through tailoring and preparing specialized training programs; including but not limited to, IEDD equipment, Diving Techniques and specialist tactical procedures.Management of OH&S systems and risk assessments prior to and during training.Managing Trainees and ensuring OHS compliance of all staff during the training periodProviding skills assessment and auditing of Trainees, including mentoring and specialized coaching of individuals when necessaryProviding process improvement feedback on OHS and military technical procedures

Driving the development and implementation of best practice, legally compliant health, safety and environmental management systems and processes Working with all managers, supervisors and employees to drive HSE awareness and a zero harm safety culture Ensuring safe work processes are in place, understood by all and being used accordinglyMonitoring and reviewing HSE related policies and procedures including the development of site specific health and safety management plansRegular scheduled audits of HSE systems
