Austco Marketing & Service (Canada) Ltd. is the Canadian importation, distribution, sales and technical support subsidiary of Austco Communication Systems Pty, Ltd. of Perth, Western Australia.I immigrated to Canada as Technical Manager and co-owner of this company in 1998 as was instrumental in building the company. I quickly progressed to Vice President and then to President taking Austco from a completely unknown brand in the Canadian market to one of the top three providers of Nurse & Emergency Call Systems. I built an operation with ten staff officed in Richmond Hill created brand awareness and grew revenues from $0.00 to over $4M in a relatively short period of time. This operation also provided technical support and training the it’s US counterpart which I founded in 1995. I Handled all aspects from incorporation, office location/fit-out, human resources to product approvals, marketing and importation & distribution logistics.In 2005 I repeated the process all over again by founding Austco Marketing & Service (USA) Ltd. based in Irving Texas handling everything from incorporation, lease negotiation, product approvals, recruitment of US based staff and a reseller network across the USA creating product awareness and growing revenues from $0.0 to over $1M in less than two years.In 2006 I sold my 40% Interest in Austco Marketing & Service (Canada) Ltd. and purchased 5% of Austco Communication Systems Pty, Ltd. the parent company. in 2007 Austco Communication Systems Pty, Ltd. was purchased by a public company.
