Utilising my experience I work with JNDC’s customers to manage risk when designing their products for manufacture with the unique insight from my engineering design background as well as taking my own products to market successfully.Having established JNDC Ltd in 2007 as a boutique specialist consultancy in engineering design for manufacture to the aerospace industry, demand from other industries saw me diversify the business and today we are a niche consultancy offering straightforward advice from design concepts through to production, with the key focus of developing products that are aligned to the customers specification, to quality, to specification, and importantly manufactured to a cost that complements our customers business model.My background of being a qualified engineer led me into the world of entrepreneurship. I identified a niche in the market for new products and developed these ideas to manufacture. Some have been spun out into different businesses, some are still running today, some have been sold and, in some instances, I decided to licence the intellectual property and receive royalties.This has now led me into the world of start-ups and small business enterprises; where I provide a professional, logical, and critical approach to create innovative solutions. According to a few of my clients I am supportive throughout even when being the bearer of bad news!Most of my time these days I advise and mentor companies going through the new product development process, from start-ups to multinationals, assisting how to manage the risks of taking (a new product) it to market.I have a passion for developing products that have the least impact on the environment as possible such as reducing the use of raw materials and increasing recycled content. Because the output of my work results in many products being manufactured, some in the hundreds and some in the millions, small changes to the design have a huge overall impact on the environment. Taking time and care to progressively grow my business I am now in the position where I have a team of highly motivated skilled designers and engineers who deliver the most amazing work for our clients.
