With over 15 years of experience leading global people and culture functions, I am passionate about creating and sustaining purpose-driven organizations that empower their employees, communites and customers to grow, thrive, and make a positive impact in the world. Prior to joining Modern, I held several CHRO roles, most recently the Chief People and Purpose Officer at Guild, where I succesfully provided award-winning strategic direction and execution of all aspects of human resources, diversity and inclusion, and social responsibility for a fast-growing company that is transforming the future of learning and work. Prior to Guild, as the Head of Global People and Culture and Shared Services at Patagonia, I led a team of over 200 professionals across HR, finance, legal, real estate, and family services. I was responsible for supporting innovative programs and policies that aligned with Patagonia's mission, values, and culture, such as the first-of-its-kind on-site child care center and BCorp certification, and the HRC Equality Index. I also partnered with the CEO and the board of directors to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, and leadership development. In addition, I serve as an independent director on the board of Griffith Foods, a family-owned global developer and manufacturer of customized food ingredients. I bring my expertise in talent development, global HR, and purpose-driven leadership to help Griffith Foods achieve its vision of blending care and creativity to nourish the world.
